Lighting in industrial plants is very important in terms of both correct and error-free production as well as providing eye health condition, work efficiency and motivation for the employees.
Industrial lighting criteria are in accordance with “EN 12464-1 Lighting of Workplaces standards”. The Minimum Light Levels criteria has also been prepared according to the standard by Chamber of Electrical Engineers.
In industrial facilities, it should be illuminated at the same level of daylight. The purpose of lighting design is to create suitable energy, durable and low maintenance schemes. Therefore, light source, luminaire selection and lighting arrangement are the most important factors in the design.
